Going off link to link I got to this really really interesting article :
New Wordpress 2.3.3 Exploit/Vulnerability - Adds Spam Directory /wp-content/1/Well, I guess you should all check your WordPress folders, you might be hacked also, without even knowing about it.

I have just checked my installation of WordPress and I have no problem whatsoever, still I will keep my eyes on the logs in case something strange happens.

The pages inside these folders are in general simple html pages containing content related to non-familly matters ( gambling mostly ), but that can affect your site quite badly. Also this wp-content/1/ folder contains one single JS file.
